The monthly content that previously resided on this page will now become part of the Rambler TimeLine, where it really belongs anyway.  Please bear with me as I ONCE AGAIN set up the TimeLine as it should be.  It now has its own TimeLine Gallery, with RSS feeds and links to the other site areas, and places around the web.

The Route 66 Rambler Parts Dept. has improved its home page, and added an online catalog for parts and official Route 66 Rambler accessories ...

You will want to change your bookmark, it now has its own sub-domain instead of just a page.

Our thanks to Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX for featuring Route 66 Rambler as the Website of the Month.  If you haven't been to Planet Houston, you owe yourself a visit. Just remember, Texas is like a whole other country...

I've decided to undo the recent changes I've made to the home page.
Requests from some readers and visitors have prompted me to return to my original, well-thought out format, here on the home page.  The blog format will work well for the various other areas of the site, but the home page will go back to being just a sampler and news page.

The Old Car Manual Project
continues to display a postive attitude towards Route 66 Rambler...

TOCMP.com has contributed the first piece for our new archive system, a 1969 SC/Rambler folder, and some articles to go with it.  All now showing n the Open Library Project...

TOCMP.com was also recently running a review of Route 66 Rambler, winding up with a recommendation to come see the site.

Welcome to all of you coming over from The Old Car Manual Project!

For those of you who haven't seen it, you have no idea what you're missing:

The Lost Dealership Project over on The AMC Heritage Forum has been getting a lot of help lately,  from Dan Strohl and the rest of the crew over at Hemmings Auto Blogs.

Thanks to them, and a little Rambler Mentality goes out to those guys, for their help.

Hemmings Auto Blogs should be a frequent stop for any AMC fan.  It's probably the most AMC-friendly of the large magazine sites out there.

June additions at the Open Library Project have ranged from the 50's, on back to the first year of Nash operation, and back to AMX styling during the Muscle Era, and even a flyer for 1981's AMX Turbo PPG Pace Car, a seriously boosted six-cylinder freak of an AMC Spirit, pushing 450 horsepower!!  The car has been discussed on The AMC Heritage Forum,  with photos of the car taken at various events by Forum Members...

This flyer is discussed on The AMC Heritage Forum here--->
